In April of 2002, the respective owners of Hoyt-Northwest and
Keraden Sales combined to create H&K Sales and Marketing, LLC.
This combination brought together well over one hundred years of
professional sales experience in the electrical construction
industry in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.
Today H&K Sales has nine full-time outside sales people and ten
inside sales-support and warehouse personnel. Outside sales staff
live in their areas of responsibility while inside sales and
warehousing are centralized in Kent, Washington. Toll-free phone
lines, up-to-date computer and software packages, and mobile
communications support a well-trained and technologically adept
sales effort.
H&K Sales is proud to represent an excellent group of
manufacturers who have outstanding reputations for quality and
reliability in their respective products. Intensive and detailed
marketing plans for each manufacturer each year insure proper
market share growth through intelligent product training, strong
local trade relationships and responsible pricing.
The outside sales staff is assigned customer accounts and support
responsibilities that take advantage of their particular abilities
and relationships. H&K Sales and Marketing makes regular calls on
every distributor, OEM, MRO, electrical engineering firm and
specification authority, every electrical and general contractor,
and every utility of consequence in the territory. These regular
calls guarantee that sales literature and programs are kept
up-to-date and sales plans and results are evaluated continuously.
